This is a gorgeous 1940s Floral Dressing Gown. It features short cuffed sleeves, a large lapel, right side hip pocket, two waist buttons for the closure, and long bias maxi skirt. The fabric is off white with tiny pink and blue flowers throughout. The inside label reads "Fashions by Marilyn, New York", and it feels like rayon. It's in excellent condition for its age, right armpit seam stitch has been repaired, buttons are discolored. The Bust measures 38 inches max, waist 25 inches, hips 40 inches, full length about 57 1/2 inches. Shown on a dress form measuring Bust 33 1/2 inches, Waist 21 1/2 inches, Hips 34 inches. This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
